Purpose
The Purpose of the Women’s Ministry is to glorify God through fellowship and discipleship in the women of Valley Bible and throughout the community
Opportunities
- The "Reach" Team is for women who have a heart for spiritual growth in women. We will:
Reach up – help women grow in their faith by connecting with seminars, retreats, and Bible Studies.
Reach
out – provide support for women in our church through mentoring and
encouragement and look for ways to engage women in our community.
Examples of this team's ministries are the Spring Conference, the Prayer
Shawl Ministry, the Women's Christmas Fellowship, and the Widow's
Christmas Luncheon.
- The Fellowship Team
is for women who have a heart to provide fellowship opportunities for
other women. As women, we all have a need to make connections with other
women and this team will be looking for fun ways to get together and
make these connections. Examples of this ministry have been the women's
hikes, stamping nights, and a Christmas Cookie Swap.
- The Social Team is
open to both men and women and will provide help for events that are
for the whole church. There are regular events such as the Annual Church
Picnic and Baptism, and Pastor Appreciation Sunday as well as
occasional events such as a church anniversary, celebration, or funeral
reception. They also have the freedom to plan fun fellowship activities
for the church body.
