The purpose of the Facilities Team is to make sure the building and surrounding grounds are ready for worship. We work to make sure the building is not a distraction to those walking through the doors of Valley Bible. The goal is for everyone to feel welcome and comfortable as they join us for worship.
I am a Civil Engineering graduate from the University of Connecticut and a Registered Professional Engineer. My primary work experience consists of 27 years in Facilities Engineering and Management at Electric Boat. In conjunction with my professional work, I served as the facilities director at my former church for 10 years. Through my experience, I have developed a variety of construction trade skills that I enjoy applying to my own home improvement projects. I look forward to utilizing my engineering experience and offering my skills at Valley Bible Church for the Glory of God.
How can I get involved?
We sponsor two work days each year: one in the spring and one in late fall. Please watch for the announcement and come join us. We are always looking for people to help, regardless of skill level. If you are drawn to this kind of work, please contact Bill.
